NSS Volunteers from IPERUG celebrated the foundation day on the theme ‘Samaj se Shiksha, Shiksha se samaj’.
National Service Scheme was launched in 1969 by the then Union Education Minister V.K.R.V. Rao in 37 universities across all states. Activity was organised within the alleys of the village educating and highlighting the importance of the theme. Students of B.Com (Hons.) III Sem played a skit on the importance of education. This was followed by a second skit on the same theme by the students of BBA III Sem. The last event of the day long NSS activity was a dance performed by the students of BBA 1 year.
The program was concluded by Abhishek Pratap Singh Sachan, NSS Co-ordinator, making aware about the the importance of NSS day.
Finally, NSS badges were distributed, starting with the batch of students of BBA 2014 -17, then followed by students of V sem and III sem. The event was finally concluded by singing our National Anthem.
