College cultural events are some of the most happening events in the city. The third season of UG Annual Fest was started on 17th February 2017 with the inauguration of RISE 2017. The intercollegiate fest organized by Institute of professional Education & Research (IPER –UG) — with the lamp lightening by Mr. Sujoy Malik, DGM and Zonal Head of Allahabad Bank, Mr. Rajesh Gaba, City Reporter of Dainik Bhaskar along with the BOD of our IPER – Mr. R.K. Sadhwani, Secretary, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti and Mr. Narendra Rawtani – Treasurer, Chaitanya Shiksha Samiti were present at the event.
The Director of IPER, Dr. (Prof) Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, supervised over the function. The two-day fest was attended by more than 500+ students from across 30+ colleges in Bhopal, who participated in more than 20 different contests and competitions. The highlights were events like the Sports, AD Mad Show, technology contest, photography contest and various group events like Singing, Dance, LAN Gaming and much more. There was also an interesting act called “MIME”.
There will be two sessions for events to be held on February 17th & 18th. The session of 17th Feb starts with the Sports & Physical Fitness activities which followed all the different contests one by one. Next day, the session will begin with a Singing competition (Solo as well as Group) by lots of participants from different under graduation colleges and festival will conclude with the awesome performance of Iperians i.e. the students of IPER UG.
