Annual Product Launch Simulation programme – WWF Season 10 for management students was conducted today at IPER Campus. Top celebrate this decade of market wrestling event, we have some professionals and the event was began with the floral welcome of our guests from corporate – Mr. Prashant Sharma, Regional Sales Manager, Vadilal Enterprises Ltd., Mr. Musta Ali, Regional Head, Methodex Systems Ltd, Mr. Anshul Sharma, Sales Manager and Business Head, Davis Furniture, Mr. Varun Rai, Area Executive, ITC Ltd, Mr. Syed Siraj Pasha, Area Executive, ITC Ltd and Mr. Vishal Lal, Area Manager, Dabur India Ltd.
In this intra-college competition, the 15 teams participated in distinct categories such as Oats, Hair Color, Shoe Polish, and Honey and launched their product. The participants demonstrated their products to the judges completely which is followed by the presentation of product launch.
WWF offers the finest platform to the management students of IPER to test the business knowledge and its implementation techniques. In addition, this simulation exercise enhances the ideas of business and the more focus of judging was on teamwork instead of individual’s skills. Due to the realistic environment of “Product Launching, ” exercise students feel blessed for improving their skills and performance.
The teams were judged by their entire field work –market research, analysis, give information about the price to the dealer and retailer. As well as, understand their margin levels, distribution channels and how to promote and launch their new products. Each team was provided a mentor which has a specific role in terms of decision making, resolving problems and clear their confusions.
While doing the simulation exercise, students were worked in various circumstances. Therefore, they well knew about the advantages and disadvantages how to work in a team. Our judges also do mentoring for IPER students and provide some worthy tips and strategies for working in a real-time environment.
